A plastic calculator showing the words How Much to figure the am

If you are considering a cosmetic procedure to your body, one of your first questions is probably going to revolve around how much is it actually going to cost? After all, it is likely going to be a new experience for you, so understanding the price is essential. On top of this, your health insurance provider is likely not going to pay for the procedure. This makes knowing what you should pay for plastic surgery all the more essential. Now, it is important for you to keep in mind that a plastic surgeon is going to cost more in major cities, such as New York, Los Angeles or Chicago. There are many varying factors at play, ranging from the cost of running an operation in such a city all the way to how busy such a quality plastic surgeon is. With that being said though, this is a list of the national average for different plastic surgery procedures, according to the Cosmetic Surgery National Data Bank Statistics.

Body Procedures

Body procedures can range in price rather drastically. Towards the higher end of the spectrum there is a lower body lift, which is going to cost around $6,840. A tummy tuck isn’t that far behind at $5,391. Other higher cost procedures are a buttock augmentation for $4,329 and a buttock lift at $4,385. Liposuction is, on average, going to cost you $2,815, an upper arm lift still cost around $3,876 and a vaginal rejuvenation might cost around $2,286. For smaller treatments, such as a spider vein treatment, either laser or sclerotherapy, you’ll pay between $326 and $355.

Breast

The breast is one of the more popular areas for plastic surgery. The most expensive operation is a breast reduction, and costs around $5,146. All other procedures cost around the same amount.
